Technology
In addition to its mission to provide pro bono legal services to Free and Open Source Software projects, the Software Freedom Law Center also tries to produce useful technology that allows non-profit organizations and law centers to operate in software freedom.
Thanks to modern GNU/Linux systems, most of the technology exists to run non-profits and law offices without resorting to proprietary technology. However, improvements are always possible. Most notably, integration of existing Free Software systems can produce useful results to streamline organizations' technological infrastructure.
In the spirit of our community, we release any technology that we develop in a “constant release” paradigm. We have a separate site, code.softwarefreedom.org, where various software components that we've developed and improved are released.
